Stock Removal Method

These are one off and custom themed knives I've produce using the Stock Removal Method.  That's basically just taking a bar of steel and removing anything that's not a knife.  It's similar to what machinist do all over the world every day.  We just produce custom knives.  As a matter of fact, some custom knives are actually produced using the exact same kinds of equipment a machinist might use to make a part for your car.
I don't have any of those fancy machines, so all of my knives are hand produced using a combination of hand an bench tool.  I'd probably produce more precise work with machinery, but I think it takes some of the hand part out of hand made customs.  Not to mention most of the fun!
None of them are for sale as they were commissioned works.  Although, I'll be excited to work with you on a completely unique design just for you.  Just Contact Me and we'll get started.  Click on a pic to view more pics, design info and see how they came to be.

BT Legacy Gallery White Knight Gallery

This is the White King.  It was commissioned by a chess fanatic on the east coast. Given the theme, I gave this large Bowie style a little renaissance flavor with bone inlay and stately features.

This is the BT Legacy. It's named after the client who commissioned it.  The scroll work in the blade is actually his initials.  As you might guess BT is just his initials too, but we'll keep his name private.
